Passe Dance Center’s Summer Intensive is a MUST for any dancer, ages 10 and up, who is looking to accelerate their skills in a focused setting.

  • Lydia Fish

    Lydia Fish is a BFA graduate of Point Park University with a concentration in modern. During her time at Point Park, she had the opportunity to perform in works by Matthew Neenan, Jess Hendricks, Martha Graham, Roni Koresh, Bridget Moore, Christopher Huggins, Marc Spaulding, Kiki Lucas and more. As of last year, Lydia joined the company MICHIYAYA Dance and premiered in their new work in Pittsburgh last fall, “Road to Sky”. Most recently, she attended Springboard Danse and performed in works by Sidra Bell Dance New York and Jie-Hung Connie Shiau. This fall, Lydia will be joining Whirlwind Dance in Columbus, Ohio and is so excited to see where the year takes her!

  • Camille Boggs

    Ballet, Contemporary

    Camille has trained with ballet’s best at Cincinnati Ballet and BalletMet. She’s earned multiple merit scholarships and studied under top-tier instructors like Sarah Hairston Berkeley and Maria Torija. Her summers have been a whirlwind of auditions and intensives from Pacific Northwest Ballet to Houston Ballet Academy. Onstage, she’s dazzled audiences in roles like Swanhilda in Coppélia, the Third Odalisque in Le Corsaire, and a moody soloist in The Raven. Beyond being a finalist at Youth America Grand Prix multiple times, she’s spent 14 years mastering tap, jazz, and contemporary—and has even choreographed for stages of her own. She teaches with just as much passion as she performs!

  • Seth Parks

    Seth Parks is a hip-hop instructor who is passionate about inspiring dancers to grow in confidence, technique, and performance. His energetic classes focus on musicality, creativity, and having fun while challenging dancers to reach their full potential. Seth is excited to share his love of hip-hop at this year’s dance intensive!

  • Andrea Parks

    Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop

    Andrea won her first regional award in central Ohio dancing to a tune entitled “I’m Cute, Yes It’s True!” The trophy was taller than she was at five years old! Andrea has won several national championships in both individual and team placements. Andrea chooses Christian and socially poignant platforms in which she conveys beautiful stories. Her passion for dance has allowed her to minister around the globe and has touched the hearts of many across the nation.

  • kassi

    Musical Theater

    One of Passé Dance Center’s own, Kassi is a professional performer in NYC. She’s been employed by Norwegian, Celebrity, and Carnival Cruise Lines as a mainstage theatrical performer, and has worked regional houses in FL and NJ (her favorite role she’s played is Irene in Crazy for You).

    Kassi graduated from Long Island University with her BFA in Musical Theatre and enjoys honing her craft as much as she can in her free time by learning from current Radio City Rockettes and Broadway performers at The Broadway Studio and Broadway Dance Center. On the other side of the stage, Kassi enjoys spending time with her family, teaching and choreographing, working dance competitions, cooking, and playing piano.

  • erin miller

    Erin Miller grew up training at BalletMet and Passé dance center. At 17, after two years as a trainee with BalletMet, she moved to train with Pittsburgh Ballet Theater and later Ballet Rhode Island. Since 2025 she has trained and is studying contemporary dance at ADDA Advanced Dance Institute of Barcelona. Including workshops with Francesco Vecchione, Nora Sitges, Sebastian Zuber. As well as performed a creation by Hiroki Ichionse and choreography by Aleix Martinez. She has spent summers with Hubbard Street Dance Chicago where she performed pieces by Hanna Brictson, Juel D. Lane and Morgan Clune. As well as Boston Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Complexions Contemporary Ballet and SALT dance. She has worked with choreographers Juliano Nunes and HUMANHOOD at Orsolina 28. Through the years Erin has developed a passion for choreographing having had pieces selected and performed.

  • Makayla Rice

    Makayla Rice has been dancing from a young age and has continued to grow her passion and love for the art throughout the years. She is a recent  graduate of Point Park University with a BFA in dance as a jazz concentration. She has worked with choreographers such as Martha Nichols, Martha Graham, Jason Mcdole, Kiki Lucas, Al Blackstone, and many more. Makayla has interests in choreography and setting work on dancers in a professional setting. Her movement can be explained as powerful, athletic, and hard-hitting. Teaching and educating the younger generation of dancers is important to Makayla and one of her truest passions. She finds that the change in the dance world will come through the next generations. Makayla’s career is just getting started and she is extremely excited to see where this long journey is going to take her

  • Miranda Haney

    Worship and Jazz

    Miranda Haney has been dancing with Leap of Faith since she was two years old and has received extensive training in Ballet, Contemporary, Modern, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pointe, Acro, and Tap. Miranda recently earned her Bachelor’s degree in dance at the University of Kentucky, where she was privileged to continue performing and creating. Miranda has a passion for teaching and hopes to foster an environment where all her students feel free to express themselves while engaging in worship

  • Matt Haney

    Breaking and Hip Hop

    Matt has been with LOFDC since it was founded in 2003 and has extensive training in Hip Hop, Breaking, Contemporary, Jazz, and Stomp. He earned her Bachelor’s degree in marketing at Ohio State's Fisher College of Business. Matt’s favorite styles are hip hop, break dancing, and contemporary. Matt loves LOFDC and plans to continue dancing and teaching as long as he can.

FAQs

  • When and where? This year’s intensive will take place at Passe Dance Center on Monday, July 28th - Thursday, July 31st f rom 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

  • Will there be breaks?  Students will have an opportunity in between classes to snack and refuel. Please make sure your dancer has plenty of water and healthy snacks.

  • Do I have to have dance experience to take one of the Intensives? Yes. Dancers should have some level of experience before taking an intensive week, however, a competitive level of experience is not required. Dancers should be at least 10 years old.

  • Do I have to take all of the styles? We would love for all dancers to take every class no matter what their focus is. This is the perfect opportunity to learn new styles and have fun while doing it.

  • What if I don’t have tap shoes and don’t plan on taking tap during the season? Reach out to the studio with any questions about shoes. We are more than happy to let your dancer borrow a pair of shoes to get them through the intensive.

  • Do I have to take the intensives to be considered for the competition team? You do not need to be a part of intensive week in order to audition for the competition team. However, this is a great way for us to get to know your dancer and train them in our studio.

Dress Code

Dancer can be in any modest dance apparel for all classes except ballet. During ballet, female dancers should wear a black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and have their hair in a bun. Male ballet dancers should wear black pants, a white tee shirt, and black ballet shoes. Socks are permitted for contemporary/lyrical. Please have a clean pair of tennis shoes for hip hop (shoes not worn outside).

Register Now! Space is limited based on studio size. Please reserve your spot as soon as possible. Dancers will be split the first day of the intensive, based on age.
