Students will not be allowed on the dance floor in improper attire. Failure to comply could result in the student sitting out of class.
Competition students may be assigned different shoes for class and/or performances at the instructor's discretion.
All students must have their hair secured away from the face in a ponytail or bun. Students must wear a leotard and pink, black, white or nude tights. Students may wear sheer skirts or jazz shorts for ballet, jazz and tap classes. Students must have pink leather/canvas ballet shoes for all ballet classes. Students must have black ballet or jazz shoes for all jazz classes. Students must have black tap shoes for all tap classes.
All students must have a black leotard and pink tights. Pink leather/canvas full-sole ballet shoes must be worn at all times. Hair must be pulled back in a secure bun. Sheer ballet skirts may be worn if they are secured tightly and are not distracting to other students or the instructor. If the ballet skirt is not acceptable, the instructor will ask the student to remove the skirt immediately. Warm-ups may be worn at the start of class (at the instructor's discretion). Absolutely no shorts, pants or t-shirts will be permitted. Male students should wear a white tight-fitting shirt with black pants and black split-sole ballet shoes.
Jazz attire will be the same as the ballet requirements, however, students may wear black pants over their ballet attire. Passé Dance Center attire may be worn and is encouraged. Students must wear black leather tie or slip-on jazz shoes. Hair must be secured tightly in a ponytail or bun.
Tap attire is the same as the jazz requirements. All students must wear black tap shoes with a reinforced toe. No patent leather tap shoes allowed.
Students should wear jazz attire, but can substitute sweat pants instead of shorts if desired. Students should wear a clean pair of tennis shoes until specific shoes are assigned by the instructor.
